Macworld 2009: New Products Showcase
Macworld Conference and Expo, an annual event organized by Apple draws huge number of visitors to take a look at the latest innovations and designs from Apple. A huge crowd drawer is the The Macworld First Looks Program which is all about highlighting new-to-market products that will debut at the show, and helping attendees and the media learn more about them. First Looks kiosks will be on display throughout the Moscone Center to help attendees identify and locate the products being introduced.
Some of the new products showcased at the Macworld 2009 Conference and Expo at the Moscone Center, San Francisco, California on January 5-9, 2009.
DocMoto Mac
CHL Software will introduce DocMoto Mac, a complete digital file and document management system specifically designed to meet the demands of studios running Mac networks. Built on proven technology, DocMoto Mac is a native Mac application providing a familiar interface with full drag and drop functionality. At its core is a sophisticated file management system that delivers efficient storage and complete revision control of all the digital assets it manages.
Stardom Pro Drive
Stardom Storage Solutions will introduce the Stardom Pro Drive 2.5-inch edition, the first internal storage device solely dedicated to the Apple Mac Pro with its slide-ready architectural design. The device delivers speed, performance and data protection in the smallest possible form factor and embeds a RAID controller that provides options for the drives to run with high speed or data backup in real-time, replacing traditional 3.5” drives that lack such functions.
Pinger Phone
Pinger, Inc.’s new Pinger Phone upgrades the iPhone phone application by integrating instant messaging (IM) and social networking deeply into the basic phone experience. The service combines IM, Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, calling and texting into one simple menu. The IM functionality supports AIM, Yahoo! IM, MSN IM, and Google Talk IM networks, sports a horizontal keyboard for fast, accurate typing, and allows Pinger Phone users to send text messages free via the IM interface.
Voila
Global Delight Technologies is releasing Voila, a first-of-its-kind image capturing, annotating and sharing tool at Macworld. With Voila, users can capture multiple images of any shape, add effects, print, share, export and even upload exported images to blogs or Websites, all with a single tool. By combining pictures, words and other objects into a meaningful illustration, Voila speeds communication.
iStudio Publisher
c:four is launching iStudio Publisher. Built to make designing easier, iStudio Publisher gives you all the tools you need, within easy reach, to create great looking documents.
Mobile MIM iPhone
MIMvista Corp. will preview the Mobile MIM iPhone Application, currently pending FDA clearance, at Macworld. The Mobile MIM is an innovative, multi-modality imaging application for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch that frees physicians and patients from an imaging workstation and enables them to view medical images remotely on a mobile device.
IntelliScanner mini
IntelliScanner will unveil the new IntelliScanner mini cubed, a next-generation scanner and intelligent home software solution that organizes home assets and valuables with barcode technology. Packaged in a sleek, metallic cubed box, IntelliScanner mini automatically tracks books, wine, comics, DVDs and more – simply plug it in and start getting organized.
ModelBaker
Widget Press will unveil ModelBaker, a remarkable application that delivers point-and-click development, empowering users to build full-featured software applications for the Web and iPhone in minutes with a single mouse click and no programming required.
Pogo Sketch stylus
Ten One Design will showcase the Pogo Sketch stylus for use with iPhone, iPod touch and MacBook. The sleek design of the Pogo Sketch features an ultra-light aluminum body with an anodized finish and detailed graphics. The soft tip glides easily over the surface of the display, making it fun and easy to sketch, draw characters or just slide to unlock.
WebCrusher
RAGE Software will launch WebCrusher, a one-click Website optimization tool that reduces the time it takes for Websites to load in customers’ Web browsers. IN YOUR FACE viewbase
IN YOUR FACE, LLC will be debuting the IN YOUR FACE viewbase, an ergonomically designed holder for the iPhone and iPod Touch that securely attaches to most surfaces. The IN YOUR FACE viewbase brings the screen right to eye level, allowing users to view videos or movies on their device comfortably and hands free.
SMART Table
SMART Technologies will showcase the SMART Table, the world’s first multi-touch, multi-user table designed specifically for preschool to sixth grade students to create, explore and discover together. This versatile and interactive learning center has a durable screen and comes with a variety of ready-to-go lesson activities and the ability to customize activities to suit teachers’ own lessons.
